I just heard a report of a campus Christian group that was mentioned in a radio news. They seem to have made some sort of standard that homosexuals can't join their group. I said, "What?!" What are we doing? We are murdering the Bride of Christ by making her out to be a monster. Holiness isn't elitism. Holiness is the separation to God from common and secular uses. That you have been pulled, redeemed, drawn away from one path to be devoted to another. We are separated to God for the will of God. The will of God is to please God. How do we please God? By doing what He says (that is) love Him with all you got and love your neighbor as yourself. The distinction that we as believers have is our love according to Jesus. BUT we have an anti-love and an anti-christ that moves through our youth groups and evangelical and fundamental Christianity that EXCLUDES rather than includes. This college so-called christian group actions of excluding these homosexual was a horrible reminder that we are not following Christ, we are following the traditions of men. Would Jesus excluded a gay woman or a man? Nope. He ate with them. He was IDENTIFIED with them. We in our hopes to be holiness have cut away grace. Holiness without grace and without love is just elitism. Elitism doesn't save, it invites members of the club, holiness on the other hand does save by sharing with all and giving to all.
If we can't get on the right path here and leave Christianity in order to follow Jesus we are going to murder the Bride, and you do not want to be standing before God with the blood of His bride on your hands. Choose holiness not elitism
